Utila Spanish Language Program

Welcome to our beautiful tropical island of Utila, nestling in the Caribbean Sea anlocated approximately 18 miles (29 km) from the Honduras mainland port of La Ceiba. Our island is just 11 km long and 4 km at its widest and surrounded by vast coral reefs with prolific undersea life. The smallest of the major islands in The Bay Islands group, we are renowned as being one of the least expensive and most beautiful places in the world for a scuba diving vacation.

General information about courses

Our Spanish language program in Utila is based on a weekly basis, 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day. Private instructor. We handle from beginners to advanced students. Our program in Utila is very flexible as most of our students combined the Spanish language program together with their scuba diving courses to get their P.A.D.I certification and can accommodate our lessons to their needs.

The price for this program is US$350 per week for 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day. One on One student-teacher ratio. Flexible with the schedule due that most of our students are taking their Scuba Diving Course at the same time. Includes grammar text and workbook.

General information about accommodation

As everyone speaks English at the Bay Islands due to their British roots, we DO NOT offer homestay at this program as it does not make sense to stay in a host family speaking the English language when the students come to learn the Spanish language, but we work with a resort that offers good deals in a casita (small house), affordable studios, and beach house on the trees.
