“Cultural immersion puts your language skills into practice and into a real-world context, creating deeper connections with the language, resulting in greater retention and comprehension.”

(HOSS) offers a Spanish immersion program in Honduras, with locations in Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba. They focus on individualized teaching, with one teacher per student, covering conversation, grammar, reading, and specific vocabulary to the student’s interests and profession. They work on a weekly basis, with 20 hours of class per week (4 hours per day, in the morning and afternoon). All of their teachers are certified, some of them are university graduates with lots of experience, and some are bilingual and handle students from the basic to the advanced level.

WHAT WE OFFER: HOST FAMILY STAY IN A PRIVATE ROOM AND BATHROOM

Students have the opportunity to live with a local Spanish-speaking family for a full immersion environment while attending our program in Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba in order to be fully immersed in the language. Each student will have a private room and bathroom, and 3 meals per day are provided, except on Sundays. Students are met at the airport, ferry boat, or bus station by the owners of the school and taken directly to their homestay to get to know their local family and start living and discovering the friendly and accommodating Latin culture and customs. WiFi is available at all host families.
